Served as an alternate member of the Independent Authority for Personal Data Protection from 2016 to 2019. He has been active in union work (Thessaloniki Bar Association) and social activities (KETHEA, NGO ARSIS, student organization ELSA), with presentations, speeches, and interviews in newspapers and radio stations (MAKEDONIA 2022–2023, ETHNOS 2022–2023, ESTIA 2022–2023). He has independently taught undergraduate courses (2008–2022) and postgraduate courses (2017–2023) at the Law School of A.U.Th., as well as at other faculties of A.U.Th. and the wider public sector (Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “CYBERCRIME” – KEDIVIM A.U.Th. – Data Protection Officer Certification).

Summary of Academic / Administrative Work:

  • Responsible for the Erasmus program within the cooperation agreement of A.U.Th. with the University of Limerick, Ireland (2012–2013, 2017–2021) and Szeged, Hungary (2020 – present)
  • Participated in educational and research programs in collaboration with social bodies, services, and structures (Institute of Defense Analyses, international post-epidemiological program RISE, NGO ARSIS related to the rights of unaccompanied minors – Komotini), as well as in the EU international program IA Child (2019–2021) for implementing Directive 800/2016 on the rights of minor suspects/accused, with A.U.Th. as a partner along with Albania, Cyprus, and Croatia.
  • Participated in numerous EU research projects in 2011 and 2016–2021
  • Taught courses at EU Law Schools under the Erasmus program during 2016–2018
  • Taught Substantive Penal Law in English to ERASMUS students at A.U.Th. Law Department from 2008–2022
